The Band::

"Anthemic hooks, jagged riffs and barking mad boy-girl vocals all play their part in an enthralling opening slot."    Kerrang!

"The Adventures Of Loki are surely ones to watch, these songs must sound fantastic soaked in beer, sweat & aggression in a live setting somewhere. Their mix of indie rocking influence, rock n roll sensibilities & punk rock attitude will take them along way if not the whole hog. High Octane fun for those who like ringing in their ears the next day!"    bbc.co.uk

"It’s amazing how much stomach churning noise this 3 piece can do. The Adventures of Loki also have the no compromise attitude of The Sex Pistols. They sound vital and make you believe in how powerful new music, particularly rock music, can be when it’s this good
."    www.studentguru.co.uk

"Brigit on bass and Rachel on drums drive a frantic ship through terrifying and beautiful storms of noise and pure music. Guitarist Steve adds his aching voice to theirs and a punky rasp is brightened by huge invention and a great stage presence... They are awesome."    www.whisperinandhollerin.com

"TAOL take the same crazed sloganeering, teutonic riffs, manic drive as McLusky and make it something utterly essential from the bare bones - genius!"  Subba-Cultcha

The Latest::

17/05/08 - Thanks to all those who made it out to our last gig playing alongside the mighty this et al and
                   pulled apart by horses - 'twas a fine evening!!  We're very happy to let you all know that our first
                   album is now firmly on the move.  We're looking at a post-summer release, sometime around
                   September, with the first copies making their way to Japan. Self-titled, the album will feature 12
                   belting tunes from the Loki armoury.  We're working with Tim 'legs' Lambert, who mixed our last
                   single 'Dance Like A Maniac' - work begins in earnest in July, we'll keep you posted on our
                   progress.

                   On another exciting note we have been collaborating with a great artist  from Toronto, who we
                   met when we played the NXNE festival over in Canada.  Nelson has produced a fantastic
                   animation for 'Split' which featured on the flipside for Dance Like A Maniac, and will also be on
                   the album..  Also, inspired by the visuals from this video Nelson has produced some great
                   artwork for the forthcoming album.  You want to see the video?  Get you arse over to our
                   myspace type web thang ;)  Hope you enjoy it!!

                   So..  Things may have been a wee bit quiet, what with one thing or another, but we are most

                   hand.  Support will come from 'Pulled Apart By Horses' who hail from our second home - Leeds
                   and our lovely noisefiend friends 'Joyeux'.  The eve will kick off at 8pm and will cost you £3.  It
                   would be most lovely to see some old faces  there and perhaps a few new ones.

18/11/05 - Howdy kids?  Thanks to everyone who has made it to the last few gigs, they've all been corkers
                   (broken guitar aside).  The Yorkie gig to raise awareness for the Lancaster Musicians' Co-op
                   was fantastic and all the bands hopefully proved why the co-op is so important to all bands
                   who use it.  If you want to show your support for Art over bland pointless shopping centers
                   which are only built to satisfy empty soulless shopping addicts then mail the following addresses.
                   Read more about the plight of the co-op and the local music scene here:
